I really think they courted the pink sheet traders. They offered unlimited size on one commission and had a good order entry service for it.

But they are not customer oriented at all. They are very very involved in covering their own rears in everything. A lot of their practices aren't pro-customer. TDW was always much better to me on many kinds of issues. I was sad when Ameritrade bought them.

Rather than increase my Ameritrade account though I'm moving my TDW account to OptionsXpress, before the TD account is moved into Ameritrade. I've already sent through the ACAT for this transfer.

I need another firm to replace Ameritrade though and I'm looking for recommendations. I'm not leaving right this second, but I'm leaving. I've had a few really bad experiences at Ameritrade that wouldn't have happened at any of my other firms and this last one with BCIT was one I just can't overlook.
