The key with Whole Foods would appear to be whether they are designing their planned new stores to have, or at least have room and plumbing etc. for, ESFS units.
It is difficult to retro-fit stuff into existing stores--expensive and disruptive to customers. It is much easier if the systems are planned in from day 1.
With Whole Foods using ESFS in 13 stores or more, there's a lot of blue sky there for Eco-Safe. More than 310 WFM stores. Like you said, the CF deal to put ESFS units in all of its restaurants should kickstart other companies like WFM to think big. Word travels fast in the food biz.
