Jon,
With that website I go 50 percent with the am price and 50 percent with the pm price in rydex funds for situations like today.

Very interesting. Some of thessites are a one person shop and it seems like they don't have things automated. I found a pretty good timer of the Dow once, but when I asked him what would happen when he was on vacation, he said he brings his laptop with him. Hard to trust it if there is no backup.

I would be interested to hear if they fudge the numbers. I found a pretty good OEX options timer once as well, but they gave themselves credit for the closing price even though they issued signals after the close.

Can you let us know if they cheat? It would be beneficial to everyone here. Thanks much for the info.

Jon: Real or Made up?

This is the reason that TimerTrac.com was put in place. They receive buy/sell/cash siganals from over 590 different timing services in REAL TIME. If you go to a website that is tracked by TimerTrac.com and look at a graph for a particular system, you can have some confidience that these are real time results and not back tested results.

Good example: indextrades.net is a FREE short term and long term trading system for the major indexs. If you go to their web page and scroll down, you will see the TimerTrac symbol. Click on it and it will redirect you to the TimerTrack website for that timing service. TT will only show the real time trades recived, but not the current signal. It looks like the signal are delayed on TT by about 15 days. BTW, they charge 179/year for looking at past results on these 590 timing services.

Since it is a free service, I can post that they went from LONG to SHORT on their short term system on 9/1.
The previous LONG trade was from 8/26 to 8/31 with a gain of 1.47% on the NDX

my 2 cents worth....
