Before Q5, JG would to insert a comment.

JG: This is BIG info for the reader: In reality, the auto companies could care less about what the fuel milage of their cars are. Because no matter what one company has, they all have it. Regardless of the price of fuel, you still have to drive a car! When it gets worn out, you’re going to buy a new one. Ineslasticity of demand..the public may scream but it isn’t going to change anywhting. And dealing with some of the companies we’v e been dealing with, fuell mileage is the LAST Q on their list!

#1 is cost. And I’m here to tell you, there is no tranny, 5, 6 or 8 speed that can be built less costly OR even equal to ours. We only have 260 parts.

KG The WSJ said they were looking for improvements of 3-7%

JG.. All the car companies have the same features. There is an edge on cost. It’s cost and performance.

I guess I missed the boat. I understood that the transmission was cheaper to build, but the hype on the IVT was suppose to be the increase in fuel efficiency. Early testing between the diesel ram and the gas ram was touting, I believe a 96% increase in efficiencys. Now we're at 4.5%. Torvecian, am I mistaken?( That press release should still be floating around somewhere)
