This is pretty much my policy also:

I don't post on a board while trading a position or while orders are entered. If I disappear, I am likely accumulating, liquidating or have no interest.

I have many boards I only watch and never post (mostly for research, sometimes for entertainment). I'm just really sick of shameless pumpers mostly. Of course, unwarranted bashing is bad too. However, the bashers are probably right most often when it comes to dealing with the vast majority of pink sheet stocks.
