I am so up in the air about the second half of this year that I am not sure if I will take any more large positions, what I have I am comfortable holding for another year, if they do not perform, if they do perform (and I think they will) and I take profits not sure if I would reinvest right now.


As far as my momentum playing, the new crop of chimpanzees have found the sub penny market. I am using a float of $15k in a separate account, and trying for short term 30% or better gains.

Watching the housing market as well and although there are bargains in the under $200k range I think it is still too early to buy any more rental houses.

What do you see happening, moving forward toward the US presidential election: Euro nation instability, US election year budget/debt ceiling moves, jobs, Iran conflict, China growth rate, minerals/exploration outlook, inflation, gold/dollar moves etc.

budget/debt issue: keep cash handy, and I just added to my Canadian account

jobs, the Silicon valley is booming but this is a bubble, the rest of the country is not so lucky, raw materials need to be in demand before the job sector has a hope

Iran: let Israel deal with them, we are no longer the world cop, although we will not admit it

China: they are everywhere, about 30% of the plane from Toronto to San Francisco on Tuesday was Chinese, the kid next to me was playing a Chinese computer game that was awesome

mineral outlook : copper has a phd in economics, follow the share price to follow what will happen. Gold and silver I have no faith in
