Sure ok, let's say some hypothetical board site takes in money for promo - how might that effect the perception of them developed in the general public? .... my own first impression is, too bloody boooring, useful only as a brief glimpse into the darker side of human nature .... who is going to care about a site like that, not me and clearly not you, not anybody we respect enough to talk to, either .... a successful message board outfit absolutely depends on the responsible exercise of true freedom of expression, there is no other way

Touts don't get much of a cut from p&d projects, i think you'll find that to be the case as a general rule .... and, look at the potential for liability to which they expose themselves - it's only a matter of time before such a place gets famous in a manner to which it is not looking forward ..... even if such a hypothetical site could programme their pages to load within a reasonable time, lol .... it's just not the way to run a business ... never mind principles - cold philistine logic says that far superior as a wealth-builder for the operators is the free speech model ... the Dryers knew that, and so do Bob and Matt
