Dell reports a profit of $635 million, or 36c a share, as the computer maker reports lower revenue in its public customers and large decrease in revenue in its consumer, public customers and large enterprise customer segments. Shares slide 11% late.
Revenues in Asia, Africa and the Middle East were flat, while US sales were down 7 per cent. Adjusted operating income was down 28 per cent to $761m.
