this is someone talking out their ass... laughable.
Think about it... really... what is the effective difference between naked short "air-shares" and invalid shares...
Market makers have sold both to customers purporting them to be real shares.... In the end there is really no difference if one bought naked short shares from a market maker, or invalid shares.. In both cases the selling market maker misrepresented what they sold, and are on the hook to make good for their sale.
