Your imagination is working overtime. My guess is that a very active company that owns an operating gold mine in Mexico and is listed on the NASDAQ is DGRI's business partner and angel investor. They have cash to invest and will need a new mine in a few years. That company is very well-managed and wants to grow.

If there is financing on the horizon and its from an angel investor or investment grade financing then yes it would be beneficial all to buy up the float and retire those shares back to the treasury.

It would also be a win win and cleaner than an RS. DGRI
