Are you sure they were talking about combining TMC435 + IDX184? I am not aware IDX184 had been combined with any other drug other than IDX320, PI, Ribavirin in clinic. Maybe they were referring to IDX184 previous partial clinical hold that was lifted by FDA earlier this year?

Yes, the Medivir speaker was referring to the prior clinical hold on IDX184 and how there could still essentially be lingering concerns about the drug and ability to dose properly in a combo. (I tend to agree with that.) The caller was just referring to IDX184 in hypothetical terms in terms of combining IDX184 with TMC435. As of now, the only nukes TMC435 will be combined with will be GS-7977 and BMS-094, and presumably the Medivir nuke that is already partnered with JNJ that may enter the clinic in 4Q12.
