Pros: Fun game for 2-12 Cons: Not really for the young ones....
Mad Gab is a fun game that you speak jibberish in order to win! There are 300 cards, and 1,200 Mad Gab puzzles to solve. The game includes the cards, a timer, a card holder, score pad and instructions. It's for 2 to 12 players, ages 10 to adult. Works great in teams at a party, or only against one other player. (this is usually how we play the game)
After passing out the cards, you play a color. One team is blue, the other is orange. (each side of a card is one of the colors) Then the fun begins! Each card has 4 sayings total, two on each side. You have to read the sound alike phrase and the other team has to try and guess what it is your saying.
For example,"Deep Lays Wasp Act." What am I trying to say? Does it sound familiar? Let me read it again, "Deep Lays Wasp Act." It sounds like...... "The place was packed!" Very good!! Here is another one, "Might Hung Waste Hide." Do you know this one? "My tongues was tied." Getting the idea of how to play? If you know what I said, you score!If you don't, then I get the card. It's a fairly simple game but some of the phrases are harder then others. You only have 30 seconds and you have to solve three puzzles in that time.
It says for 10 years and up, but I find that it is a little hard for my daughter who is 10, and she can read really well. She doesn't understand some of the phrases, it's kind of over her head. But we adults really like it!
