Oh, sweet! Butt county is very famous gold bearing region in California. Oroville is where dredging operation started!
Feather river is well known for its coarse gold. And there are a lot of it!!! I am working on a claim about 50miles east of Oroville.
Weather is going to be 80s this weekend. S_P and I are planning to recover lots of gold this summer. Maybe we can have a precious metal conversation over a cup of coffee sometimes in near future!
Maybe we can swing the detector together. lol
