There are no good options - our mistake was invading Iraq and not going after OBL immediately after 911! A pol decision was made at the time, and we just got in deeper and deeper.
Frankly, I'd like us to pack up and leave Iraq AND Afghan tomorrow but intellectually I know that won't happen.
