jbennett, I agree some of them are pretty scary. I worked in a place some 13 years ago and several of the younger people there were pretty much on the Fringe with Jesus. They read Bible at Lunch and listened to "Christian Music". One of the contractors had a seizure one day (turned out he was epileptic) and many were standing around looking as he foamed at the mouth and froze up. One of these "Jesus Freaks" said out loud that he was Posessed! It was one of the few times I have had to actually restrain myself from exerting force.

jb, You have to be careful when using a "broad brush"... While jar & mlsoft express views that are clearly Evangelical in nature, they are certainly entitled to their views as long as they are not harming others.

We also can not allow the idiot brigade, Reed, Robertson, TammyFaye, Falwell v. Larry Fling, and the Teletubbies to obscure what appears to be a real humanitarian crisis among global Christian populations. At the hands of Moslem "extremists", Christians are the target of an aggressive genocide campaign. MILLIONS have been killed and persecuted. It is an abomination!

In order for "Never Again!" to actually mean anything, righteous peoples have to insure that it never happens again. Yet here we go again, Christians now the victim of yet another holocaust, and the world is silent.... Interesting tho, the US Christian Right, or so-called "Moral Majority" (a VERY VOCAL group with political clout!) has been deafeningly silent on the entire issue of Christian genocide and persecution, which doesn't seem very "moral".....

But we are looking at very amoral atrocities, and the whole world is basically silent - again - making "Never Again!" a rather moot point, no?....
