Pakistan has nuclear weapons. India too. N. Korea as well. Israel too. Some of the countries of the old Soviet Union as well. I'm sure Iran is very close too if not there already. Funny how our almighty Chimp is able to separate everyone but Iraq without solving a single fundamental problem by going to war against Iraq (in fact I can see many new problems he is creating in the process). So... it's got to be the Bush stupidity... but unfortunately, what goes around comes around. Just like the stupid policies of his father (Bush) and parent Chimp (Reagan) who created the mess there in the first place.

Agree. I don't see the Iraqi issue as a question of going or not going to war - we ARE at war. We have been bombed, thousands of our citizens lost their lives, and people who did it promised to come back and hit us again and again.

Iraq is just an issue of strategy, of choosing our next battle in the ongoing war. Having a friendly government in Iraq - as well as a strong US military presence - may very well change the balance of powers in the region. Rich Saudis and others will be more afraid to support terror... It may become unacceptable and dangerous to talk the crazy extremist talk in the Middle East. We may yet see guys from the (by then former) Iraqi intelligence work hard on hunting down the unreformed Al Qaeda.
