Just finished reading about Weyerhaeuser, like so American companies do nowadays, have George Weyerhauser be a classmate of George Bush and donate to the Republican Party and you can get almost anything exempt, including all of the lands it has destroyed over the past 100 years. If you violate the rules and more workers die in you plants than anyone else, thats ok, just pay the reduced fines and go about your business. George Bush exempt Weyerhaeur from your owl story and allowed them to clear cut all those acres and ship the wood overseas to be processed and finished, destroying 10,000s of good american jobs in the Pacific Northwest, and allowing all of those polluted cities and towns to die along the way. Meanwhile Weyerhauser has so many sites that they have abandoned for someone else to clean up like the EPA, they would rather hire lawyers, pay small fines, thanks to the Republican Party, and there favorite Washington State Governor, Booth Garner, who was also was emempt from disclosing his new vast fortune in Weyerhauser stock.
Never take anything some of these people tell you as a drink-the kool-aid approach, look it up yourself and discover that Weyerhaeuser has been probably one of the biggest destroyers of American lands, but with the right political connections like George Bush and the Republican party you never have to worry about what you do to your employees, the land, and the many cities and towns you have polluted for decades. Why must so many people have to die so that corporations can make a buck. Meanwhile Weyerhauser has destroyed so many other good small american companies along the way by bid rigging, and shipping jobs to Japan and Korea to finish the job of taking all of those good american trees to sell someplace.
