SNDY doesnt cater to and is not selling to people like me and you. They are selling to hospitals which I suppose will not happen on twitter. If they have plans of coming up with self help kits, then that is a different story.
Facebook and twitter are great for mindless babble and marketing to the general public. I'm guessing the medical market is like the microwave electronics market (my experience) - small and focused - that facebook exposure is not worth the money it would cost to pay someone to maintain the presence, in my opinion.
