Re: Prescott's 64-bit performance is sometimes worse than its 32-bit when AMD's isn't in the same benchmark so this is not remotely a minor issue about degree here.
These cases seem to be very rare. I'll agree that Prescott's EM64T implementation does have some limitations, but these should be fairly easy to fix. It's not like the entire ISA is slow relative to AMD's implementation.
