yes, and I was very very angry at Obama for quite a long time, until I understood .. and it wasn't easy to break through my madness ... ;), after all, we had just come out of primary season .........but, after reading respected writers, writers who acknowledged his weaknesses AND his strengths over and over again, as each piece came out ... I came to see ... that Obama really really believed that they could work together ... He said so, in so many different ways during his campaign ... .. remember ? ... It's not red America or Blue America .. blah blah ... HE SINCERELY BELIEVED that STUFF! .... He sincerely believed that with the country facing it's worst economic crises since the great depression ... THAT ALL politics would be put aside ... that WE WERE ,not red, not blue, but 'we' were WE! ... WE would work together to restore OUR country .... and he believed that for a very very long time .... he didn't give up! ... he kept at it ! ... . He KEPT TRYING .. and they kept spitting on him ...I wised up finally, swear I think it was over a year before I did .... HE REALLY meant it ! .. JESUS!!!! .... I just about passed out when I got it ! .... that is just exactly how jaded I was ... NOT OBAMA but me ! .... he really believed in the greatness of our politicians .. the Greatness to achieve and work through HARD PROBLEMS together ! ... for a better life for ALL Americans .. and they spit on him ..

He has character .. He has 'real' character ... he is an honest man and a man who believes in the greatness of people AND in the greatness of this country ... . .They broke his heart too .. not just ours .. damn them.
