... ;) My Dad always told us .. YOU ARE what you READ! .... .don't waste the gift on trash! ... ;) I think back to those times when I was the youngest in the family, yep, the baby... and 'they' would go out ... . .to the movies or something and I would get to stay home with my Daddy! .. . . OH !!! that was HEAVEN for me!!!! Me and Dad, by ourselves ... . oh I loved him so very very much ! AND down we would go to his office with me in my pajamas and he would open the books and begin reading me to me .... ;) ... all about rats ..blood and gunk and stuff ......I was THRILLED! ...and would fall asleep so peacefully and so ecstatic to be in My Daddy s arms, sheeesh! I was so dumb... I thought everyone had what I had ... that also took me years and years to learn that it wasn't so ....
My point is .. ;) ...I hear a bunch of criticism about the press, the nyt, wapo .. wsj, etc. .etc.. but I'll tell you ... I read all OUR blogs too and I love them ... but when I read what these people post not just on this board .. but on .. you know, ..... I'm so PROUD of my websites ! ... oh my God ! ........they are reading imbeciles, who didn't make it in life or school and sadly are nothing more than people with hate and a conspiracy and a lie... .OR more frightening .. they are reading people who are smart and with a plan ... and of course they must use hate & stupidity to attract .. but their purpose is deviously political .. .and the dear reader slops it up ... the person has used that reader ...they know he's not too bright, but, you can't be used unLESS you just don't know anything .. . sadly that's the case in a lot of peoples lives in our country, even sadder as you have said many many times .. they just continue to vote against their own self-interest, they continue being the highest welfare states, the lowest wage states and the least college degree states ... and yet, they still vote dumb, what are you gonna do ? ... ;(
it makes me so very grateful to read the NYT! .. wow when I open up a post and you can tell immediately that it is a Pulitzer prize winning writer, I don't mean they are always right! ... but damn, They write good and their presentation is excellent AND better yet, their research is endless .. and then there is all those great writers in our blogs etc.. .... ;) what am I saying ?
yes, I'm saying it's garbage that they read ......let the ones who look for it fill their minds with it .. unfortunately at times, 'we' have to look at it too... and what a sight it is .......the flies chase you away real soon! .......
