He could have and then rescinded such laws or made them undetectable by any means we have. Or He could create "out of nothing" by divine fiat. Or all "physical experiences" could be an illusion. Or the Raelians could be correct.

The question is which is correct? To answer this, we don't have to look at Creation only. There are other proofs of God's existence and basic nature. So if we know He is there and we know He is good, we can reasonably expect Him to make available a "special revelation" that gives details on Creation, His Nature, His Purpose, Our Purpose, etc. There are various documents that people claim are "special revelations". The only such revelation that makes sense states that He created directly. Furthermore, since He can create directly, it's reasonable to assume He did. Since He tells us He did and since that concurs with nature as we experience it, there's no reason to doubt it.
