Probably one of the better conferences that will take place this year, have you ever really tried to understand the issues that are being discussed by all of the nations of the world.

We, as Americans share this world, and thanks to world trade we are enjoying the benefits that are derived from that trade.

Going forward we are a population of 7 Billion people, striving toward 15 Billion, just how will the world manage this growth. Well the top 20 Nations of the world get together to discuss all of the advancements that mankind has accomplished, while the rest of the nations learn and discover what will be needed in the future to accomplish the simple goals of sustained life for all.

They have to do with food security, and freshwater, and the santation of the waste that we all generate each day. How does the world create cities that will sustain life for 10s of millions of people in those cities, some cities will contain much more than that. Then there is the blue economy and the oceans that we all share and enjoy the abundance from. Then there are the bio-diversities, the forest, and ecosystems that all mankind to flourish from modern developement. Then there is sustaineable energy, and social issues, and finally Natural disasters that take place all around the world at anytime, and that can effect all of us.

Why would anyone have a problem with the world talking and educating one another on how to deal with real issues. I know of someone who was finally asked to attend this conference, he has dedicated his entire life to issues that help so many, and I feel honored to know this person. So much more important than making the next dollar.

This conference is truly a worthwhile endeavour for all of mankind.

"social safety nets" for the world's most vulnerable social groups for reasons of “equity.”

What????

So, on the off chance that our country is going to be able to honor the promises made to the soon to be retiring Boomers, after giving virtually 100% of our "Equity" to the hedge funds 4 years ago, now we are going to add all the third world's retirees to our Social Security system for reasons of "equity'?????

Oh yeah. Obama needs to make that a campaign slogan. He would lose the election by the biggest margin in history.

But then he's already headed for that.
