Pandit was paid a symbolic $1 in 2010 and $128,741 in 2009. He had joined Citigroup in 2007 when the bank bought his hedge fund Old Lane Partners for $800 million. Citigroup is the nation's third-largest bank by assets.
reach 600 again AH, Mad cow case confirmed in California The United States Department of Agriculture confirmed Tuesday that it found a case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in a dairy cow from central California.
This is the nation's fourth confirmed case since 2003 of the ailment known as mad cow disease, which can be fatal to humans who eat parts of the animal infected.
The USDA in collaborating with international animal labs and U.S. public health officials to determine the origins of the case.
It does not expect the finding to affect U.S. trade in beef.
