Jack.. On which information do you base this on.. There are no paper share cerfs. any longer and they have not been around Wall Street since 1988 on almost all stocks that are traded.. BK companies that have notorials and that traded that way before 1988 still are passed thru the cage but those trades must be in the exact share amounts listed on the CERF.. This is because thier are no way of getting new CERFS.. In the DCT there are no fails to deliver and no fails to recieve TEVED,, that is none,, 0,, or any other way you might wish to say or post it.. There will be no short squeeze just as there will be no buyers for 100 shares of TEVED at $99.00 making the trade appear to register a last price for TEVED @ $99.00.. ....

If NITE was short they would be prohibited from trading thru DCT on any issue.. I just can't see that happening as NITE trades in over 2500 different stocks and if they did not use DCT the cost outside the DCT can cost as much as $40.00 per trade..

The DCT handles 99% of all trades and is the administrater of all share transferes.. Your broker either has a back office giving out bad info or your broker has just brushed you off..

In order to obtain share cerfs.. they must be ordersd but no one does that any longer,, since all share holdings are paired off and distributed thru the DCT where over 99% of all trades go thru..

New Shares have been/were distributed the day the reverse took place.. The cash for the fractional shares is/must be collected by your broker and unless you stay on top of it,, it will remain in thier account drawing interest sometimes as long as 8 months..
