I am not sure what you mean by federal consequences. I have not considered anything like that. I am thinking more along the lines of his ego. He is a dealmaker and wants to make deals the way he wants to make deals. Having shareholders to answer to would impinge. I simply do not think he wants the obligation. This has worked in our favor for now, but I am certain things will have to change. He is collecting quite a powerful hand and if his heart is like Mr. Buffet's, we will all be ok...if not, well, then he holds all the Ace's with the intellectual property.
Cannabank is acting like an investment bank and is most likely subject to some fairly rigorous rules. The hint in the 4Q is not to be taken lightly. He is getting to the point where, someone some where is going to want some more information. If that is what you mean by federal consequences, then I think you have it backwards. He has invited more eyes rather then less, by holding himself out as a banking institution.
One must be concerned about absolute power corrupting absolutely. He is the new "pot king" (sorry Bruce) in this new world of regulation. If he is a man of integrity, then we can all enjoy the fruits of his visioning in a very long term way. If he is not, we will eventually have to keep eyes out for an exit strategy.
For now, we are good and there is the safety of being in the game early and being the first out the gate. For those of us who are here now, we get to win either way.
