to find out where the sales come from and about the price discrepancy... I just had my call answered after starting this Post: you are indeed CORRECT in your assumption...
SEVU uses 2 types of phone selling teams...
+ One "inbound team", subcontracted from specialized Firms to handle the large volume of calls resulting from TV Commercials...
+ One "outbound team" in house, that handles relations with Dealers, in particular...
So Christy Mutlu's: "At the end of the day yesterday, we calculated 936 units, from my outbound sales team of 10 people" actually refers to sales generated in house mainly to the Dealers's Network of over 800, increasing at the rate of 20/week, according to the SEVU Website... This also explains the price discrepancy, as SEVU must be selling to its dealers at around $300.00, giving them a 33% mark-up of $100.00, or so on the $400.00 retail price...
It also means that all a dealer has to do, is sell ONE unit/day, for the current selling pace of some 900 units/day to continue, as a result of ONLY one marketing channel!... When the complete ARRAY of selling TOOLS is firing on all cylinders, sales of 2000 units/day would seem to be quite possible... All SEVU has to do now, is ramp up the Production...
