For whatever reason I've never had much luck in the ASCO stakes. Sometimes it's a sell-the-news phenomenon, sometimes it isn't, and I have trouble guessing which it's going to be.
Ariad likely won't have any groundbreaking news, but we should get an interesting update of response rates for ponatinib. Harvey at Cowen hinted that they would have some interesting analyses as well. Should be a high profile presentation at least, even if not much in the way of news.
PCYC updates should be very interesting - I've seen nothing to dissuade me from my belief that they have a magic drug (just as Ariad does with ponatinib). (And my general advice is that if you find a company with a magic drug, buy the stock and resist all temptations to sell it when it runs up).
ARQL I don't follow closely enough to understand exactly what news is out there and what will emerge at ASCO. Certainly c-Met is an exciting space.
AVEO I still hold, but again it's hard to know what might emerge at ASCO to excite folks.
Celldex breast cancer drug is very interesting, but their gliablastoma drug muddies the waters (not saying it won't work, but I also have no great confidence that it will).
MDVN I also still hold - their update should attract a lot of attention.
