Wow, CA sounds like it's the suck! Here in VA a concealed-carry is easy as pie to get. Don't be a felon, don't be crazy (literally), and take a qualifying safety course, then go get your permit. Open carry requires no permits at all.

WOW, 8 months, it took 2 months here! It was so easy here I watched a guy get approved after explaining the charges that he was stalking his ex wife two years earlier, lol. She was even there with him incase that brought that up, lol. I think in the back of her mind she had to be freaking out, lol. Made me REALLY want to carry after seeing a couple people get approved, lol.

I love my 27, put a thousand rounds thru it before cleaning, just to see if it would jam, never did. I have three different glocks, love'em and no problems. My brother is a 1911 collector, he has some very cool guns. just picked up an AR15, maybe it's a redneck thing or military thing, former Marine.)
