Your arguement makes perfect sense but is only surmised, and can not be proven without verified share counts. It is also what lets doubt enter into the equation, and could be what is allowing shorting, or even naked shorting, but this still can not be proven either without a share count. Wihout the share count, the unknown variable is too large to move the stock through either scenario of dilution or short manipulation and the price sits in this range. So I give my analogy of today's trading action strictly to today's trading events, as that is all the relevent info I have to go by, right or wrong. -IMO-TW
