I believe they have to file paperwork explaining what they are doing,and what ratio of a reverse split. This wont happen in the short term. I will be watching the number of shares being sold that would add up to 7+ bil.. That being said, the key is to watch for company execs. selling large amounts, then you know somethings up. On the other hand, watch for execs. buying shares. (They have to file a notice when they buy and sell shares). I read a story months ago where one of the execs. was buying shares of mdce.(not for the co. but for himself) I cant validate the story, but watch the filings, they are your best friend.
