Couldn't be said any better. The current pps is irrelavent at this point and going into trading next week. A deal has been in the works for some time and the buyout price has been negotiated internally within the company. For those that are believers its time to load up more, and for those that are nervous just get the heck out.
I'm confident the buyout price will be much greater than the current pps. Wasn't the market cap close to $50 million ($7 pps x 7 million O/S) at one point last year before the Nasdaq delisting? Weren't we trading at .36 (.36 x 87 million O/S = $31 million) within the past 60 days? And weren't we mainly in the .10 to .20 range the past 45 days or so? And aren't the BOD members shareholders? If the potential buyer low balls the offer too many would call BS, raise a stink, and lawsuits over fraud would ensue, etc. Plus you lok at more than the pps to determine what a company is really worth.
I say a buyout of .35 pps is at the low end, and could go easily over .50 up to 1.00.
Everything points to Dyne and BD buying ATRN out. Probably a 80% chance at this point with all the various evidence available. Hard to tell how many shares they still have since converting some of debt to equity late last year. They currently could be a majority shareholder which means if they buy ATRN out they got the bulk of their shares on the cheap (peenys per share)from the debt conversion, and it would be easy to offer a decent price for the remaining shares.
But I'm not totally convince they (BD) are a majority holder. A form 3 was never filed. Plus look at all the volume earlier this year, with some days over 100 million shares. If BD was a majority holders the float would have beenb really low which means it would have been trading several times over within the course of one trading day??? Possible, but not likely.
