lol, they said it impacted them -- I think they meant it would have been EVEN BETTER if the economy were better. As a metaphor, Apple probably would have sold more iphones in 2010 if the economy were better, despite doing quite well.
I know you know all this....just stating it in case others didn't pick up on it. ;)
