Two points...I happen to agree that someone who never bothered to carry health insurance and has an medical episode, such as a heart attack, etc. and then tries to get coverage should be denied - it's the same as trying to get auto insurance AFTER you've an accident...I disagree that insurance companies will insure a person FOR REASONABLE RATES if they do have a pre-existing condition - and that includes a C-section (cesarean birth), and a condition one is born with.
