I think the slime-balls over there are trying to restart operations; that gives AEXP a new shot at the 20% stake. It makes buying AEXP a compelling proposition. Still holding AEXP sold all my MNLU months ago, been waiting for the shoe to drop, seems it's in midair.
While this news won't help us today, it might prove to be good news for AEXP investors in a few years, since AEXP led the BP well project and has the know how, data, and success record in drilling the record BP well to pay dirt levels of NG in Miss. They might just quietly re-acquire new (old) leases from the actual owners over the next 1-2 years in Miss., as MNLU withers to dust in BK, and while AEXP insiders quietly stock up on dirt cheap shares. I still have high hopes they will get something going this year in the oil patch to help the stock price. But this news could be a hint of an exciting future for NG in a few years for that area, and for AEXP.
