The float probably increased because of rule 144. After the restricted stock was held for a year the owner (I’m guessing SG) is able to take those shares and move them to float. Good news is whoever had the restricted shares now only holds 7.5 mill. If the restricted stock goes up again then that would probably be SG giving himself a fat bonus. I guess he needs to get paid also :-\ IMO
