The exchange authorities in Germany are not going to pull the shares until they receive formal notification of cancelation from the issuer (the company) itself, which should happen today I would think. Please remember that the new BOD only took office yesterday. They have to implement the plan, and one of their first tasks is to cancel the old shares and issue the new.
