Management has to be very careful to consider the consequences of their public announcements to avoid misleading investors, especially with a highly volatile penny stock like ERHE.
I think they made a mistake when the CEO released those videos, for example, which came across as the sort of cheer-leading you are cautioning about.
Shortly after there were two price rallies, which both turned out to be dead cat bounces. Whether the rallies were people buying directly as a result of the videos or not, is harder to prove, but some folks here have indicated that they were influenced by them and felt misled as a result.
I think the company has learned since then to be more circumspect in their communications and include a better summation of the risks to avoid misunderstandings. The more recent 10-K, 10-Q, Conference calls, FAQ, and News, Updates, etc. are increasingly well vetted and informative.
Expecting the CEO to "ring the bell" on the time to buy based upon what may happen, or try to otherwise manipulate or react to the share price is unrealistic and not at all beneficial.
What they need to do is continue to work towards the long-term success of the company while keeping the public informed of material events in a way that avoids controversy and false-hope.
This won't satisfy the "CEO must do something magical now to support the share price" calls, but we will all be happy if and when they are able to update us on truly positive material events.
Yeah right ! How about Ntephe actually doing something to advance the huge prospects in the EEZ ? Oh yeah i know, after all these years he had a meeting and went to a soccer game.
