Yes, I keep up with Bill Gross- with the amount of money he manages in his bond funds, he is someone to pay attention to. I tend to be a bit careful of what I read from him, though, and look for where he might be trying to help himself, instead of little ole me, by his comments.

Dan, Thanks for posting the Bill Gross commentary. The bond guys are the sharpest of the bunch and it pays to listen to them. Bill Groos always shares interesting insight.

basserdan, Thanks for the read. Mr. Gross is a very bright light indeed and I have always enjoyed his writing. I am afraid he is correct in his views and would guess that the die has been cast and there is little that can be done to change the trend. Hope I am wrong. David

dan, with all due respect, IMHO gross' light is diming. he
increasingly resorts to whining without addressing substance.
he appears unwilling to take his head out of the sand when its comes to terrorism or the real world in which we live in today. i am personally sick and tired of those who attempt to blame every problem on so-called hate of america. in the past he had relevant things to say. recently, he has become more strident and somewhat contradictory to other
pimco people like paul mccauley (sp ?) not sure how one can use
his missives to make money. for him to even hint at "adjusting" (apparent belt tightening) is most hilarious.

Dan, After I read Montanamark's post it appears that you posted two commentaries by Gross. Would you mind PM'ing the "other" commentary so I know what MM is talking about. I am particularily interested the part where Bill Gross "attempt(s) to blame every problem on so-called hate of america."
