I hope you guys are right. I sold my QQQ on Friday, and would have normally taken the small discount offered this morning, but I figured a weeks worth of patience will get me a bigger discount...closer to 23 maybe...

We'll see. Meanwhile my BRCM short is a little under the water(just a bit), but that's just a small position I am willing to add to.

My understanding is that you do not need an uptick to short the QQQ. Because of its nature as an ETF the upick rule does not apply. Can't remember where I heard this, so might be mistaken.

i'm now being told they we're in error regarding "uptick"; however, they say the trades at 24.79 we're cross-trades and not mine. a bit infuriating when you nail the high and are denied your trade. still arguing with them but i've pulled the order for now out of disgust! LEON
