Petrochemical exports to earn Iran dlrs 2.5bn by year end

Iran's revenues from petrochemical exports are expected to reach dlrs 2.5 billion by end of the year on March 20, 2006, from dlrs 1.1 billion in the March-September period.

Deputy Oil Minister for Petrochemical Affairs Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh told reporters in Mahshahr on Sunday that about dlrs 18 billion will be invested in the petrochemical industries during the Fourth Five-Year Plan (2005-10), about dlrs 12 billion of which in Assalouyeh in Bushehr province.
