US silver will not be marginable until risk analytics clerks at each brokerage say so. Each brokerage does its own in house eval. As I recall, this was the first topic I addressed on this board. Once on AMEX, US Silver will probably disappoint....will be held back for weeks, as the players know a lot of underwater investors are in this stock and they are masters at the game of attrition.
It will take time for marginability to become available. Stock will also continue to encounter headwinds until something BIG happens. If something Big happens soon, it may be general to the PM sector, not specific to US Silver.
BTW, I agree with retiredyoung99. Odds hugely favor taking profits rather than continued holding at risk for outsized gains. I have some appreciation of the odds of the two outcomes. I would hold some free shares indefinitely but not more than 10% of my overall stake.
