Peg -- what I thought I read was that they had the gene (or some close variant), but it didn't seem to produce dementia in them -- and thus contrasting that gene's function in us versus respectively in them could lead to insight into why the gene in us does produce dementia, and perhaps how that gene in us could be turned off from producing dementia
