JB, good morning. I don't derive that problem from the 4 premises. Can you be more specific on how you arrive at this being humanity's chief problem? What reasoning leads you to believe this is humanity's chief problem? God is not present in your problem description, so you may believe that God is not important. If so, can you explain why?
I'd like to discuss ways of salvation, which was our original goal. However, we won't get far if we aren't agreed on the problem salvation solves. Thanks.
(for convenience here are the Premises/Problem again)
First - God exists. I must humbly submit to His commands.
Second - God is completely holy, good, clean, and pure.
Third - I am not holy and pure because I refuse to perfectly follow His commands. I have separated myself from God.
Fourth - God is just. Justice requires disobedience be punished.
Problem: How can I escape God's punishment, yet justice be preserved?
