Ninja, nothing on the Spyder page implies that it is not up and running and fully functional. Nothing on there says it is still in development. Nothing on there that says what it will do when completed.

I think you meant explicitly.
And a webpage that is fully viewable by the public over the internet is, well...public.
A publicly accessible webpage is not synonymous with a publicly announced product launch.
