I agree. The post-discounting value is not a huge portion of the price -- but, IMHO, if you're going to list it as part of the value, you need a down-side risk factor as well.
It doesn't need to be big, but really, it should be there. JMHO.
Which is really why sell-side analysis is free and plentiful -- and why buy-side analysis is expensive and rare.
I do not think it will take 4 years to get drug approval for AP26113. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a nasty cancer with only a 15% survival rate. Remember Crizotinib's phase 1 results were briefed at the 2010 ASCO Annual Meeting, The FDA fast-tracked the new drug application. A phase III trial was initiated to assess crizotinib vs standard-of-care therapy in ALK-positive patients who failed one prior treatment. On Aug 26,2011, the FDA approved crizotinib.......
