It is "when right stay the course, when wrong make it right"

Most people forget the last and most important part of that quote.

brainlessone, I would reccommend that you do not serve on any war crimes juries. When the defendant stands and says "my country right or wrong" you might wonder where you really are.

brainlessone, I agree wholeheartedly with this:

there is an American religion that people beleive in that serves to unify all the personal religions

I believe the values and principals expressed in our US Constitution are so woven into the American psyche, they rise to the level of "religious" belief. But our entire government and legal systems were founded on Judeo-Christian principals, and on the 10 Commandments specifically. Americans believe in our Consititutional rights with the utmost conviction.
