Problem that makes Unocal very "in your face", U.S. does not depend on it, as UNOCAL's prime business is serving the asian market.
Strategically measured against the other areas of competition for oil, Unocal is quite insignificant.
The issue wasn't oil in this case regards China, the issue was China, period; and a very hostile statement it was.
