If you get the argument about dividends being double taxed then you should also get the idea that it doesen't matter whether it is the corporation or the shareholder who pays the tax as long as it isn't paid twice.

I don't see why the burden can't be shared, at which point there are advantages and disadvantages to putting more on the shareholder in favor of less on the corporation.
