Now you understand...what a ridiculous converation, and it matters not to me, but it was you and toxicdebt who kept saying that restricted shares are not AUTHORIZED to be sold.
The problem arose when you mentioned authorized instead of keeping it simple for loanranger by saying they are not permiited or allowed to be sold until the restriction is lifted, and that in this case the restriction was illegally lifted due to fake opinion letters.
No more time to waste here. I hope everyone now understands what was originally stated, but let me re-cap in case anyone is still confused with the two very simple statements I originally posted.
1) Float + Unissued + Restricted = Authorized Share Count
2) If OBO + NOBO > Authorized Share Count, there is absolutely, 100%, no doubt about it, uncovered (naked) short sells in the market for this, or any other stock,IF the shares are not covered within the mandatory time frame.
Whew! Unless all of you are just having a little fun, it baffles me to see why this discussion did not begin and end with the two statements (labeled 1 and 2) above. Have a good evening and no reason for me to post anymore as this was nothing more than a fishing expedition and I thank you all for taking the bait.
